READi Design Lab is a creative platform for experimentation. It was created in March 2011 by the École de Design Nantes Atlantique to forge links between the worlds of pedagogy, business, (SMEs & large groups) and research through innovation with a focus on information and communication technology uses and practices.
In a context of increasing computerisation in everyday life, READi Design Lab explores:
- The hybridization of objects, environments and information systems through its research focus on “tangible interfaces”;
- The relationship with the body and its movements, under the “Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality & Design” Masters programme;
- Knowledge engineering by proposing innovative modes of representation and interaction that can cope with constantly developing volumes of information (Information Design).
