Nantes Université has 38,000 students, 20 faculties, 295 disciplines and 44 laboratories. It hosts 4210 overseas students (11% of the total student body) at its campuses in Nantes, Saint-Nazaire and La Roche-sur-Yon. In 2017, it received I-Site accreditation (Initiatives in Science, Innovation, Regions and Economics) under the Investissement d’Avenir programme for its NExT project.
Nantes Université is joint scientific director for the West Creative Industries programme with the École de Design Nantes Atlantique. The team is based at the University’s engineering school, Polytech Nantes.
