Le Mans Métropole

Le Mans Métropole is a communauté urbaine (urban district) made up of 19 communes and counting 205,000 inhabitants. It is located in the Sarthe department in the Pays de la Loire. It is governed by district council comprising 74 members who come from the municipal councils of the 19 member communes. The district council is chaired by Jean-Claude Boulard.
