The European Commission wishes to “accelerate the green transition, contribute to the recovery and ensure better living together for all (and thus) capitalize on the wealth of knowledge, experience and existing capacities as well as call for new visions, ideas and solutions. ”
To this end, the Bauhaus Prizes, from 15,000 to 30,000 euros, will reward existing achievements and support young initiatives. As an official partner of the New European Bauhaus and representative of the Pays de la Loire region, Ouest Industries Créatives supports you in submitting your projects.

The 2021 Awards will be part of and culminate in the first phase of the new European Bauhaus, focused on design and engagement. They will recognize and celebrate existing achievements and support the younger generation to further develop emerging concepts and ideas. They will give visibility to the examples and concepts that illustrate how the triangle of sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion has already been translated in our territories, our communities and in our practices, or which pave the way for it. ‘to come up.
At stake : 30.000 euros for the winners of the New European Bauhaus Prize, and 15.000 euros for the winners of the New European Bauhaus Rising Stars Prize !
All winners will also receive a communication kit (eg paid media, production of a short documentary, how to present the project).
Terms of participation :
Two levels of competition exist :
- The “New European Bauhaus Awards” will be dedicated to existing and completed projects.
- Le “New European Bauhaus Rising Stars” will be devoted to concepts or dossiers submitted by young talents aged 30 or under.
You can apply in one of the following categories (one winner per category and per level) :
- Eco-responsible construction techniques and materials
- Circularity in construction
- Co-evolution of the built environment and nature
- Regeneration of urban and rural spaces
- Products and Lifestyles
- Reinvented heritage
- Reinvented places to meet and share
- Mobilization of culture, arts and communities
- Modular and adaptable solutions for life on the go

In order to make regional initiatives more transparent, Ouest Industries Créatives is committed to representing the players in the Pays de la Loire region.
We support you in submitting your projects as a partner of West Creative Industries.
- Submit to us the project (s) you would like to compete for the New Bauhaus Prize, by completing this interest form, before Tuesday, May 18.
- We will contact you to select your best project, and assist you in putting together the file that must be sent until 05/31/2021 inclusive.
