The aim of the West Créatives Industries programme is to create, develop and internationalise a regional interdisciplinary research centre on experience, an original and forward-looking theme with high potential for international visibility. To achieve this, the approach relies on around ten research laboratories in Pays de la Loire in various fields (Art – Design – Architecture // Human and Social Sciences // Digital and Engineering Sciences), whose collaboration on the most promising subjects is to be strengthened.
The scientific project is divided into two areas:
- Axis 1 / “Fundamental” research on the evaluation of experience
- Axis 2 / Applied research on the design of experiences (with particular support for the development of research skills in art and design schools)
To date, West Créatives Industries has supported 25 projects in the field of research and experimentation (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 calls).
